Received shrapnel wound to right elbow 4 April 1917. Killed in action at Millencourt 3 April 1918. Buried Millencourt Communal Cemetery Extension (B.48), France. Age 26 years 1 month, Timber Hewer, single, Roman Catholic. He was 5'11¼" and weighed 168 pounds with a medium complexion, brown eyes and dark brown hair. Born at Neerim. Son of Joseph and Alice Feehan, Neerim East. Educated at Neerim East State School. Awarded the 1914-1918 British War Medal and Allied Victory Medal. On the Neerim War Memorial, and Neerim East and Neerim State School Honour Boards. Also on the Drouin Longwarry Roll of Honour which was published in the Drouin Independent Newspaper in 1919.

Enlisted Neerim South 12 February 1916. Embarked Melbourne per HMAT A33 Ayrshire on 3 July 1916. Service – Western Front. Taken on strength 14 Battalion 20 October 1916. Promoted Corporal 29 October 1917. Wounded in action 8 February 1918, gassed; and wounded again 31 May 1918, shell wound to his leg. Returned to Australia per Demosthenes on 19 September 1919. Discharged on 17 November 1919. Age 24, Sleeper Cutter, single, Roman Catholic. He was 6'0" and weighed 168 pounds with a fair complexion, blue eyes and fair hair. Born at Neerim. Son of Joseph Feehan, Neerim South. Awarded the 1914-1918 British War Medal, and Allied Victory Medal. On the Neerim East and Neerim East State School Honour Boards, and the Drouin and Longwarry Roll of Honour published in the Drouin Independent Newspaper 1919.

Enlisted Melbourne 9 July 1913. Service – High Seas. Saw the first successful aircraft take-off from an Australian warship, when Flt. Lieut. F N Fox RNAS, flew a Sopwith Pup aircraft from the quarterdeck of HMAS Australia. Discharged on 28 July 1919. Age 19, 5'7½" with a fair complexion blue eyes and auburn hair. Born at Neerim East. Son of Mrs. J Feeley, Rosworth Post Office via Neerim South. Awarded the 1914-1915 Star, 1914-1918 British War Medal, and Allied Victory Medal. On the Neerim East and Neerim East State School Honour Boards.
